Wendy’s traumatized life deteriorates further at the sight of Dr. Steele on TV. His investigation leads him inside one of the idle alien ships near Washington DC. Inside the empty ship, Dr. Steele realizes they are both hospitable and his way out of the Raven’s murder trial.
At a press briefing, Dr. Steele accidentally reveals his intentions to leave earth. Discarded by the military, Dr. Steele’s drive to leave, forces him on a harrowing journey across the chaotic city to board another alien ship. Blinded by retribution, Wendy spends the last few days before liftoff convincing herself she must now sacrifice her connection with planet Earth and join the calling to come home in order to chase Dr. Steele across the galaxy. Her only hope is to catch him on the other side of the journey and kill him.
